Your Writing Dept, Inc. was awarded a contract with the California Department of Pesticide Regulation to perform a final proofread of the revised version of Regulating Pesticides: The California Story, A Guide to Pesticide Regulation in California before the publication was sent to the printers.

The publication was first published in 2001 and had become out of date, so the department undertook the process of rewriting the document. Wanting a second set of eyes before sending to the printers, they awarded the proofreading contract to Your Writing Dept, Inc. Approximately 480 comments and corrections were noted in the 164-page document after the final read was complete.
